After a 12-month renovation, the Child Development Center returned home on June 16, 2009

Adrian Acosta, 14, and Christopher Wheeler, 18, both worked hard to compose musical ringtones inspired by the sounds of nature for the seventh annual Club Tech Digital Arts Festivals.  Recently, their hard work paid off as both were named regional winners for the contest that had nearly 350 entries worldwide.  This is the second year in a row that Camp Darby has a winner in this category!

Acosta and Wheeler are members of the Livorno  Child & Youth Services and received plaques and Microsoft Zune Mp3 players for their regional win.  they moved on to represent several military bases at the national competition where their entries were judged by a panel of distinguished judges including representatives from Harmony Digital Media Consortium, Microsoft Corporation and Universal Music.
