Who is eligible to stay at the Sea Pines Recreational Facilities?
Authorized patrons of the Sea Pines Recreational Facilities include active duty and reserve US service members; guardsmen; military retirees; DoD, DA, DN, and DAF civilians; NATO personnel with NATO ID card; uniformed members of NATO member nation military services; and dependent family members of authorized persons. All patrons of the Sea Pines Recreational Facilities must have both a valid passport and appropriate military identification in their possession when accessing the Camp Darby military installation. To ensure ease of access to the installation throughout your stay at Sea Pines Recreational Facilities please inform the Sea Pines staff of your military affiliation when making the reservation.

The Sea Pines Recreational Facilities is open Monday thru Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Guests arriving after hours may pick up room keys from the safe deposit boxes by digiting the last 4 numbers of their social security number. NATO guests will digit the first 4 numbers of their NATO ID number.
Deluxe Rooms: ~Double bed, ~Single bed, ~Chair bed (suitable for a child), ~Private bathroom, ~TV, ~VCR, ~DVD player, ~Refrigerator, ~Microwave oven, ~Air conditioning between months of June and September, ~Patio with bbq grill, table and chairs *All rooms are located on the ground floor
Standard Rooms: ~Double bed, ~Single bed, ~Chair bed (suitable for a child), ~Private bathroom, ~TV, ~VCR, ~DVD player, ~Refrigerator, ~Microwave oven, ~Air conditioning between months of June and September
Deluxe Cabins: ~Double bed, ~Single bed, ~Chair bed (can accommodate two persons), ~Private bathroom, ~TV, ~VCR, ~DVD player, ~Refrigerator, ~Microwave oven, ~Air conditioning and heating
Rustic Cabins: ~Double bed, ~Single bed, ~Chair bed (can accommodate two persons), ~TV, ~VCR, ~DVD player, ~Refrigerator, ~Microwave oven, ~Air conditioning and heating. NO BATHROOM FACILITIES.
Campsites & RV Sites: Qty 72 electrical campsites, qty 3 RV sites (concrete platform). Barbeque grills, covered wash points and picnic tables are located throughout the campground area. Qty 2 large shower facilities located on either side of the campground. Two overflow areas (open camping) for groups.
Transportation services at Camp Darby are extremely limited. Options are car rental from the local on-post Europcar Rental*, a car rental agency at the Pisa Airport or taxi services. Please be advised that taxis are not permitted on Camp Darby and are costly ~ approximately Euro 30 per trip from Pisa to Camp Darby. If you choose a taxi as your mode of transportation, you will be dropped off at the front gate entrance.
On-post Europcar Rental open Mon-Fri 10 am to 5 pm and Sat 10 am to 2 pm. Call direct +39-050-547395. If you are TDY, please provide copy of orders. If you require automatic transmission or multi-passenger van, please call several days in advance.
Airports: The Pisa Airport (PSA) is sometimes referred to by booking agents as the Florence-Pisa Airport. Florence (FLO) is one-hour away from Camp Darby. There is an airport shuttle that runs between the two airports. The Pisa Airport has daily flights to Munich Germany, Paris France, Milan and Rome. There are also budget airlines that offer low fares to Dublin, London, Frankfurt-Hahn and Brussels. Click here for more airport information.
