The Reception Office is open Mondays thru Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Guests arriving after hours may pick up room keys from the safe boxes by keying the last 4 digits of their social security number.  NATO guests will key the first 4 digits of their NATO ID number.

TRANSPORTATION:

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES AT CAMP DARBY ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED.  Options are car rental from the local on-post Europcar Rental*,  a car rental agency at the Pisa Airport or taxi services.

At this time, taxis are not permitted access to Camp Darby.  If you choose a taxi as your mode of transportation, you will be dropped off at the front gate entrance.

On-post Europcar Rental Open Mon - Fri 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Call direct +39-050-547395.  If you are TDY, please provide copy of orders.  If you require automatic vehicle or multi-passenger van, please call several days in advance.

Trains:  The main train station in Pisa and Livorno can be a fast and speedy way to travel to near-by tourist destinations.  Ticket prices and timetables can be found at www.trenitalia.com  The website has an English section.

Airports:  The Pisa Airport (PSA) is sometimes referred to by booking agents as the Florence-Pisa Airport.  Florence (FLO) is one hour away from Camp Darby.  There is an airport shuttle that runs between the two airports.  The Pisa Airport has daily flights to Munich Germany, Paris France, Milan and Rome.  There are also budget airlines that offer fares to Dublin, London, Frankfurt-Hahn and Brussels.  More airport information can be found at www.pisa-airport.com
